‘Poniéndonos al día’, catching up, after a holiday break is a good opportunity to look back and think of all the things that we have done lately, using the present perfect.

If we looked even further back, for the sake of comparison, we could see how some things used to be different. We could share that with others, using the imperfect tense.

It is cool that we can keep it down to two tenses. Just watch this little clip to see what it could be like if you were to try combining both. You will be also reminded of some basics about these two tenses conjugation:
